Chillwave from the boardwalk.
Warm, a little hazy, never in a rush. Debut single “Ledger Daze” out now.

About
Theophilus Duckland was raised on the boardwalk — the kind of place where the neon signs hum louder than the arcade machines and the salt air gets into everything, including the music. Long before he ever touched a synth, Theo was the duck sitting cross-legged at the end of the pier at sunset, tape recorder running, catching the sound of the tide for later.
You’ll know him by the tinted round shades he never takes off, the black durag that catches the wind off the water, and a rotation of loud banana-print shirts he swears are “part of the sound.” Ask him why bananas and he’ll just smile and change the subject.
His style pulls from all of it — the hiss of an old cassette, the lazy sway of a summer crowd two drinks in, the hum of the arcade bleeding into a chord progression at 2am. Warm, a little hazy, never in a rush. He’s less interested in the perfect take than the true one.
Debut single “Ledger Daze” marks Theo’s first official release — a hazy, groove-first track about watching the tide come in while everything else moves too fast to keep up with. It’s the sound of a duck who’s figured out that the best way to beat the noise is to slow all the way down.
Theo doesn’t perform often. When he does, it’s usually somewhere you wouldn’t expect to find a stage — a boardwalk railing, a quiet corner of DuckGod territory, or the plaza in Omentown, wherever the tide feels right that week.

Theo’s hologram stands in the plaza in Omentown — a 3D web hub world that boots up like a machine from 1999 and opens onto a town with an arcade, a casino and a plaza worth loitering in. He doesn’t play many rooms in person, but the hologram is on around the clock.
Walk up to it, press E and ask for a song. You don’t get to pick — Theo pulls one of his own at random — and it takes over the plaza speakers, so the whole room hears it instead of the usual loop.
“Sure thing — Rug Pull Sunrise.”
